Kathmandu, Nepal and am soon going to go on a trek up Mount Lhotse i am so excited!!
Mount Lhotse in Nepal Asia just south of Mount Everest is the 4th Highest Mountain in the Himalayas at 8511 metres. When climbing Mt. Lhotse you take pretty much exactly the same route as when you are climbing mount Everest. The Lhotse was first climbed in 1956 by Ernst Reiss and Fritz Luchsinger they took the same route as you take on Everest. A lot of the time Lhotse is mistaking for mount Everest’s south peak. Mount Everest and Lhotse are actually joined at the bottom by the south col.
